  • Truss rod adjustments on a strat head charvel...

Alright, this may sound dumb: but I've never adjusted the truss rod on a strat-head charvel. I've only had pointies in my collection; Jackson and Charvel. So in the spring I got a TMZ natural series koa charvel (my first strat head) and with the change in climate recently in the North East, I think I have to adjust it.

Is there an easy way to do it w/o taking the neck off? Is there a special tool I need to adjust it with since it's not the same as pointy truss rods? Do they make a tool that can do it w/o taking the neck off?

    thanks in advance.

Recently did this for the first time with a strathead, myself.

Gotta take the neck off. No special tool.

I know, it sounds weird asking.

Dammit! That's what I expected to hear. You'd think since there's a (slight) route underneath the fingerboard that all you had to do is reach in there w/ a screwdriver and adjust.
