  • What's the better bridge beetween these 2?

Jackson TRS-101 or Jackson Low Profile JT580 Double Locking 2-Point?

    Yes,TRS on a jackson star DK-03 and JT580 on the new DK2L.
What keeps better in tune and within the right intonation, that doesn't untune in bending and whammy bar abuse.

BTW, does the recessed trem-routes from these guitars are compatible with an OFR? Would be worth it to replace the tremolo?

Just noobs question, easy for you I guess

If I had to pick between these two, I'd pick JT-580.
I've seen at least one DK-2M with an OFR... seemed like a direct swap.
(I bought it from Alvin, and have since sold it to another forum bro)

I would go with the 580 too. ( I am guessing that the jackson trs101 it is the same as the Ibanez trs 101 with one flat side.

Isn't the JT580LP pretty much the same as the TRS101 anyway?

I always noted the baseplates on the JT580s seemed to be beveled and shaped a little differently. I know Tageuchi made some of the 580s.

The trems are very close. I have even had both made by takauchi.
If the jackson is the same as the ibanez the edge by the 6th string is flat not curved like on the 580, floyd rose, and schallers.

I'm kinda partial to the 101, actually.
