  • do you ground your blade switches?

the seymour duncan wiring diagrams clearly show toggles getting grounded but blade switches not.

    Mine are..

You will be getting your ground to complete the circuit from the pots/jack.

    What Schematic you looking at?

You dont ground a post, you ground the body of the switch.

You talking about this schematic http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...atic=3ws_trans
Mine blade switches have a little tab for a ground. It doesn't need to be grounded because like I mention before that it gets it ground from the jack to complete the circuit (path). You can ground the switch on the case as RR mention. This will create a ground just in case the switch fails. Are you having issues?

you can see the ground tabs in this picture.

            Grounding switches

It is recommended to ground the body of the switch. Although it probably wont make much difference.

If you 've got a metal tape (shielding) touching the case of the switch and the volume pots, etc Then they are already grounded together.
