  • China Celestions

Hello All. I was just wondering when did Celestion start manufacturing their speakers in China? Are any from Ipswich, England now a days?

    Thanks, Dave

a few years ago, and yes the "Heritage" series is still produced in Ipswich but you'll pay almost double for those drivers.

I have seen players use their teeth on a guitar. I have yet to see one chew on a speaker.:ROTF:

I have a couple of Chinese V30s and some 20 year old Ipswich ones. They sound identical, and the Chinese ones haven't crapped out yet after 2 years.

                Try the clones from http://www.warehousespeakers.com/products.html

They are great speakers and not pricey or made in friggin China.
