Before installing them? Tricks? Common problems with installation? Thanks!

Make sure your floyd is blocked for dive only.

In some cases, the allen bolt that tightens the string block won't seat properly in the D-Tuna and the "notch" must be filed a tad for it to fit.
I'm thinking the chrome plating compromised some of the tolerences in the fitting.
Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.

Instead of blocking the floyd, could you just get a TremSetter?

          Play in a den Cobras.
Oh, and take your D tuners with you.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

I got one of those awhile ago for my Charvel Star. I don't know what the deal was, but I couldn't get it to work properly, so I just took it off and sold it.

I would venture to say that that would not work because the trem needs to be totally blocked from sinking when the E string detunes. Now a Tremol-No....maybe, I'll have to meditate on this matter.

Did you set it up so the trem was dive only? If you don't you will have tuning problems.

Its designed for the OFR. And to be put on a top mount floating Floyd. Not on a counter sunk or a low pro trem. Its not hard to install but it can be annoying to get set properly. Once it is set. There are no real issues. At least none that ive had with mine.

Yes, the trem is resting on the body for dive only.
