volume pot problem! help..

the Volume pot on my 2005 Dkmg is making a cracking noise, i can listen a cracking noise when turning my volume knob !!

i want to change the pots with some good quality one , the DKMG got EMG h3 hz passive one

i want to swap out the Tone and Volume both and remove the turbo charger!!
please guide me what type of Volume and Tone Pots i can use 500k or 250k ??

changing my volume / tone pots effect my Tone quality ???? Guide me..

have you tried spraying some contact cleaner in the little whole on the back side of the volume pot, then turning the pot back and forth for a bit to work the cleaner in?

if you want to replace its guts call up the guys at RSguitarworks.net and they'll tell you everthing you need.

Just look for a pot that has the same specs as the one you're replacing and it shouldn't change the tone.

Unless you're dead-set on getting new ones, some contact cleaner will definitely fix the scratching, as Dreamland_Rebel said.

i want to remove the After burner
and install 1 Vol Neck / 1 Vol Bridge / 1 Tone
is there any wiring schematics ?? for Emg Hz 1 Vol Neck / 1 Vol Bridge / 1 Tone

I thought you were going to get away from the HZ's, anyways?
In the meantime, the contact spray cleaner ought to work.
The stuff is usually pricey, but well worth the cost.
