How are most people recording clips for YouTube? I've done this just with my 8mm camera and the audio seems to be tricky to capture whats really happening. I have a good microphone and could do the whole multiTrack thing but wonder about syncing with video. Or do I just suck it up and sound sub par?

If you are having a problem matching the audio to the 8mm video, you could do a clap in the beginning and end and then time stretch the audio to make it match up right. I am not sure of the drift percentage of 8mm video to a unsynced audio source.

i was in bestbuys an electronics store here in georgia, and they had some big add up for a special digital camera or something just for you-tube, as a matter of fact the add shows some girl playing an electric guitar. i just glanced at it but i hope it will help
