  • Wiring Problem

I'm having a problem with the 3 way switch, I have a humbucker and one single coil in the neck position fitted with a push pull volume to split the coil on the humbucker and a 3 way toggle for pickup selection, the volume works but the 3 way dosen't, the humbucker is on in all positions. I haven't installed the single coil yet but am assuming that the humbucker shouldn't work when you select the single coil position on the switch regardless of whether it's installed or not. On the 3 way I have the rear pole grounded, the center pole wired to the volume and the black from the humbucker to the outer pole leaving the other pole unused. Any ideas?
    Thanks

Have a look on the Seymour Duncan website, there are some really useful wiring diagrams on there for all kinds of setups. Certainly helped me over the last few weeks
