  • Who Sells the JT6 Trem String Screws

    Hi,
Does anyone know who sells the JT6 Trem string screws? It's the 6 long screws that has an allen wrench head that holds the strings into the bridge.

    Thanks! JD...

EDIT: Likewise, those won't fit; the JT6's size is a 2.5mm , while those are 3mm

Thanks guys for your help. It is fully threaded and looks like the one they have pictured here, but it's sold out.

If you have stripped the allen heads just cut a slot in the allen head and use a flat blade screwdriver.
            Really? well screw Mark Twain.

The heads on the screws were already in poor shape when I got the guitar. If I don't have any luck finding new screws, I'll take your advice and cut slots in the head. What tool would best suited to cut the slots? My Dremel tore-up a few months back, so it looks like I'll need to replace it soon.

              Thanks, JD...

Probably a Dremel. A grinder would work, but is way too big. Alternatively, you may or may not be able to make a slot with some metal-cutting hack saw, and then run a file through it to widen it.

If I don't buy another Dremel tool before I change strings, I'll give the hacksaw and file a try before spending the cash.

                  Thanks for the help. JD...
