  • Using cloth insulated wire

I have an old amp that is shot. I cut out some cloth coated wire and I want to use it to rewire that Mod 1. Pros? Cons?

Cloth wire is all I use.Very easy to work with and makes the job look very professional.

Thanks. I needed that. Since it's just the single Hum and vol pot, I thought I would give it a go.

I'm shocked that you are not using vintage "old-beef intestine" insulated wire fett!

That was my first thought. I guess we won't put you in the old folk's home just yet. Carry on, young man. Cloth covered is cool.
