  • Did Schaller and Takeuchi both make JT580LP trems?

I seem to remember my 1996 RR-2 having a Takeuchi trem, if I recall correctly it was a JT580LP. On my Charvel Rhoads mutt score, it seems like the JT580LP I have just feels and looks different and has a different block.

I'm not sure of the make of this JT580LP, but it is far nicer...

    Any thoughts?

To the best of my knowledge, Schaller never built a JT-580 of any kind.
I know there are at least 3 or 4 different renditions of the JT-580.
Some are Takeuchi and some were made by an unknown vendor.

Ah, well the version on my charvel Rhoads mutt is pretty nice. Much nicer than the Takeuchi.

Schaller just makes the JT-590 right?
