What have you heard about it, and why are you so excited about it?

I wanna hug Mike Learn again

(I'm being told I can't kick anybody's ass this year)

Hopefully some new multitrack recorders designed for tracking rehearsals and live shows, like the Korg d888 but with better preamps and without software bugs.

The Nik Hubers, 24 fret Suhrs, Vigier..not to mention that trolling the bottom floor with all the weird one off and imported stuff and out right blatant cheap rip off/copy stuff is always fun.. kinda like a freak side show at a really bad carnival.lol.
Also getting a meeting with Peter Diesel and Salwinger to dicuss some stuff.. should be a really cool show this year.
Really looking forward to seeing just what will go down upstairs at the Jackson part of the Fender room.

I'm hoping Fender announces the David Gilmour Signature Strat.

I think someone has been wishing for this for the last 20 years.

                          In no particular order:

                          - Checking out new Jacksons and Charvies (duh!)
                          - Seeing my custom amp that will be in the Heritage booth
                          - Seeing if Korg, Roland, or Yamaha are coming out with anything new to dissuade my possible purchase of a Korg TR-61
                          - Seeing if Boss is coming out with a replacement for the now obsolete EQ-20 pedal
                          - Hanging with Mike Learn again
                          - Hoping to find Dan Lawrence, whom I've spoken to but not met yet
                          - Saying hi to John, Mike, and Brian from Jackson
                          - Kicking Ron's ass if I catch him kicking anyone's ass
                          - Getting away from sub-freezing Minnesota temperatures

                          - E.

Did Ron really beat someone up last year?

Wasn't last year, it was a few years back. He didn't beat anyone up. He literally kicked someone in the ass.
