Any big tone imporvements from swapping out your tremolo block?

I'm looking at the "all steel" tremolo block upgrades I might try it on my Model 1 but I guess I could also try it on my Kelly's JT-580 if I can find one that fits.

These steel blocks are a tad pricey, anyone notice any worthwhile difference to justify the time and trouble?

Yeah, some are brass but after market I think the only ones I could find to buy that fit are steel "big blocks".
