<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Actuallly that would be an augmented 4th, played like:

E------
B------
G------
D---8--
A---7--
E------

I just think of it as the Lynch chord.

Harmony question

..that will probably turn into lots of questions. What is this interval, a 4th?

E------
B------
G------
D---6--
A---7--
E------

Thanks for the help, I have a hard time with this stuff.

Re: Harmony question

It's a major 3rd (E and G#). A fourth would have been E and A, a minor 3rd would have been E and G.
