    what trem is this jt-500? it's on a ps4

    Yup. The 500 was the one that looks most like an OFR as far as the saddles/fine tuners setup goes.
    I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

      ps4 without a strat shaped pickguard? that's weird.

          Just curious, does the 500 have the tremolo arm collar? Or is the arm the snap in or screw in variety?

            Screw in directly into the baseplate, which sucks, then strips, then sucks even more. Fortunately you can get rid of it and install a collar (and collared bar) on the same baseplate since the "screw" hole is big enough, just a bit smaller than the hole on an OFR if i recall.... ?

              The JT-500 is a cheap JT-590.
              Dimensions and specs are damn near identical.
              The 500 is made of softer metal and has a screw in trem arm.

                    I think that's an early jt-580. You can find it on Henrik's trem info project.

                    I used to have one, it should have a screw in type trem-arm

                      It's a PS-4, those all came stock with a JT-500.
                      The square base JT-580 was long gone by the time this guitar came out.
