• What the fu*!k could I play here?

I am new to soloing. So there are a lot of things I still don`t know. I`d like to improvise the Celtic Frost`s Dethroned Emperor solo, but I have no idea which scale to use.....The rhythm guitar plays open E,F5, open E, Ais(I hope that`s the right term), open E, Gis, open E, C.
Do you have any suggestions? Would appreciate it very much!!

yeahh mate try the Cmajor scale and its diatonic brothers and sisters..lol

that progression you listed is E phrygian(metallica's love it)

so use the Emin pentatonic scale
E phrygian scale

arp wise play a Cmajor/Amin over that and it would sound cool....a Dmin arp gives the flat 2nd of E a high light..

in fact play any of the diatonic arps/scales related to cmajor over it..i dont know the song so if its not a quick progression make sure you target the (chord friendly)notes in the scale of whatever chord you are playing over

ahhh natural minor abuser..lol

cool just use the same scale but drop the 2nd down a half step/semitone...thats the only diference in that scale..they each have the min 3rd and flat 6th..so it will be easier than you think mate
