I trying to decide on finish. Should I go Relic version or a nice candy green with fine blue pearl?

This Relic Style?

Or this color and not relic'd (Green candy with a blue pearl dusting)?

We are just looking at the color right? I don't like relic style unless it's a Gibson or Fender, and even then, light relic is more than enough.

Yes, it will be just the color. It will be the Charvel style body, except I'm routing for a recessed trem to take full advantage of the trem claw routing.

That green pearl is beautiful. I'm with Mr. Metal, beat it up, all by yourself, over time. I hate that whole fake relic crap.

Relicing was slightly ok until Fender started stamping them out like crazy.

I'm assuming you're using a new neck and hardware, so I say go with the green pearl. If not, I personally would "age" the body slightly to match the amount of wear on the other parts.

I like both, but that pearl is mighty sweet looking.
