  • My new Jackson JE unit. Active curcuit

How was I suppossed to know a JE2000 is for a bass? :ROTF: Oh well. My question is: "Would it work in a guitar?" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=005

It should work just fine. I know the active EMG circuits that are designed for bass can also work with guitar, so I don't see why the Jackson system should work any differently. It may give you a bit of a warmer/darker sound, though, but I'm not too sure.

Probably should just resell it, imo. What good is a 12dB boost/cut at 40hz in a guitar?

Look at it this way... You now have a great excuse to buy a bass!
