  • CS Dinky Input Jack Placement

Where do you guys think is the best place for an input jack on a CS DInky? On the side of the guitar, where it is most often put or somewhere else? I was thinking on top like a strat, but I don't know. I want a Maple top so I don't know if that would look good.

    IMO

put it were it is normaly... with a maple top it wouldn't look so good on top of the body or getting in your way while walking and playing.

Yeah, I hear you. Maybe it wasn't such a bright question to ask in the first place. lol I have seen some cool guitars with it placed on the back, though.

Behind the headstock works fine for me.

Maybe He thinks I meant strap button. lol Have you ever seen those Killer guitars from Japan. They have the input jack on the back. It's about the best placement I've ever seen for one. Akira Takasaki from Loudness plays one.

I like how Brian Moore has the jack on the back of his guitars.

Neal Moser does the same thing on some of his guitars.

Not to be a smart-ass or nothing, but it's an output jack.

Don't you mean "not to be a smart ass or anything." Using "nothing" in that grammatical context is a double negative. In some college english classes you would have flunked the whole paper on that one sentence alone. Now that's a smart ass.

I also got the point some people on this board can't go to college. You know who you are.

I wasn't referring to anyone imparticular. I have enough problems without inciting the wrath of some crazy guitar player.
