  • Reflex Pickups

Hi everybody, glad to be here.I recently picked up a Jackson Stealth,I believe the neck pocket said HX pro.Anyway,it came with Reflex active pickups in it.I'm trying to find some kind of wiring diagram for them. They are in H/S/S configuration, separate preamp, volume, and a tone control that seems like a mid-eq sweep of some sort. When the tone is turned up all the way it brings up a lot of hiss and tries to give out microphonic feeback a little bit. Also there is a white wire from the preamp that isn't connected and I don't know if this is correct or not.All I've been able to find out so far is that I have what is known as the Reflex Silver set, they were made in England in the 80's to the early 90's,and they were installed as factory equipment in some Stealth guitars, but that's not the case with this one because the wiring job is a little sloppy.I've surfed the net off and on for days and even sent emails to guitar shops in England and Scotland and all I've gotten back is what I've explained here.I would really appreciate any kind of help to solve my problem.I'd like to see what they're really like before I move on to something else. Thanks!

White is the input to the active box system (the wire should come from your pickup switch), so that needs to be connected!!!
    Red is battery +
    Green is ground
Blue is output from the active box system
Pink & Yellow are the EQ, Pink controls mid band harmonics, yellow upper-high harmonics.

They show two hookups, Vol, mid control and tone (with a capacitor on that pot), and Vol, mid control and high control (no capacitor, yellow wire is used on the 3rd pot). On the Vol/mid/tone option, the pink wire goes to the mid and the yellow isn't connected

Click the links, if it doesn't come up large size, put your cursor at the bottom right and the enlarge icon should show, then click that:

      To Mountain Dog

Thanks for the info.Comparing the diagram to the guitar, everything was half-assed.I'll have to re-do everything, but that's fine with me.Thanks again!
