I renamed it. It's now called "Holy Bible".

i have it and it kicks ass... great stuff for getting faster. I learned how to sweep pick from that book and it helped my finger independence. I think its one of the best guitar instruction books..

NO learning shredder should be without it and a metronome!
Besides being packed with killer excersies and the best breakdown of technique I have ever seen, The middle section "the art of Practicing" is worth the price ALONE!

GET IT NOW!

I just ordered it, so hopefully it will be here sometime just after christmas and I'll give you a review on it then. And then in another few months to see how my shredding has improved.

what Baum83 said. With it you've got enough to keep you going for a long time. If you master it and start to get bored (able to play all at 200+ bpm) you need a life.

I've also been wondering about buying the whole "Full learning system", but don't know if it's worth it

Yeah.

I just ordered the metal kit $110 dollars shipped to Sweden. That will have to do for now

Looks cool.

Is it worth buying the whole "Full learning systems" for $199? Or will you just end up with a bunch of books almost telling the same thing?

Well my copy rocked up yesterday, they must of had one in stock at the Australia importers. Havn't started any of the excersises yet, just been reading through the advice at the start. So far it seems real good.

It is a GREAT book IMO. All of Troys stuff is real good, he does more than just supply you with a bunch of licks. I've been working on his Beethoven Masterclass - crazy stuff!

Gareth, would you mind posting the number for the Australian source for this book? Solo speed technique is something Ive taken up as kind of a new years resolution and i need HELP!
