  • Whammy bar falls out on my Floyd Rose

Actually been dealing with this for years. The whammy bar on my B.C. Rich falls out when I move too fast on stage. You know if I turn around real quick it just flies out. I tried tightening it at the base but the nut must be stripped out or something. It holds for a few hours then it's right back to where I started. Anyone ever had this problem with a Floyd? Most troubling on stage.

I assume it is a push in type arm?If so change the bushings(the little plastic sleeves on the arm).
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

A kit to retro fit your floyd for a screw in collar type costs like 15 bucks.

Are you sure that you have the right threading on your trem arm? Try another arm out, see if that works better. Other than that wrap pipe tape around the arm before you screw it in. Or try lock-tite.

It would be nice to know which arm he has push in or collared.
