  • Complete Setup for my RR1 (Need Help)

The guitar techs in my area are crazy! They want to charge me $200 dollars for adjusting a floyd rose, clean the fretboard and put 2 pickups.

So I thought I could do it myself with help.

-I need to clean and leave the ebony fretboard in perfect playing and looking condition... Please post a link so I can buy the best one for my fretboard.

-How to setup 100% correctly an Original Floyd Rose

    - Intonation

and most importantly I need a Diagram for 2 humbuckers with 2 braided cunductor for my RR1

    Thanks alot

What type of pickups, Active (EMG's, etc.) or Passive?

Duncan diagram for passive setup http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...ic=2h_2v_1t_3w

I recommend as essential for guitar players. "Guitar Player Repair Guide" by Dan Erlewine. Also, "How to make your Electric Guitar Play Great!", by Dan Erlewine.

You can do a search here and there are fretboard cleaning tips. This has been posted to death here. Also, you may find info on the Web for Floyd setups. Dan's books cover everything from A-Z.

dude, did you really need to start a thread on this? use the search function, or google it.

Search for Dan Erlewine on Amazon.com for books to set up your guitar/clean it.

          Get this for the fretboard:
