I know there a lot of EMG fans here besides me, so the rest of you just move along. 
I wanted to put a pickup in my acoustic for recording, but I hate piezo's, mic'ing is just a pain in the fucking ass, and I've never heard a magnetic soundhole pickup I liked either. The guy at the music store talked me into trying this EMG ACS system, and wow! (and for you smart asses, I did put strings on it before I tested it
) All I can say is EMG has done it again! I know it doesn't really use any of the acoustic properties of the guitar, but I have to say this is the most natural sounding acoustic pickup I've ever heard.
Soooo, if you want to try something in your acoustic, I say give one of these a shot. My ears love it. If you don't like yours, take it back and get a refund, but don't blame me.
