Yet another Floyd Install Question

I have a Model 3 that has one of those nasty Kahler 2700 models on it. It's actually not too bad but I do have an Ibanez Edge trem that came off of a old Performance strat laying around. How difficult is it to install the Floyd? It will have to be routed and the post alignment does not come close. Also can I use the kahler locking nut or should that be removed and replaced? Any responses would be greatly appreciated!
