can sweat stain rr5 gold control plate?

i just purchased a new rr5 ivory w/ gold hardware. i played an outdoor show and got what i think is sweat on the control plate and it dried for a day and will not come off. it has little black dots in the middle of each spot. anyone else run into this? where can i purchase a new control plate? contacted jackson and they told me GuitarPartsGuru, has then but i emailed them and no response. please help!!!!

Call Music Parts Guru, that's who Jackson told me to call a couple of years ago. I've dealt with them in the past and they were very good to deal with. You definitely want to call them though.
