I have a vs65r that is humming, when I smack it it goes away. I think it is the preamp tube these have but I don't see any easy access. Has anyone changed the tube in one of these amps? Is it hard to get to? Thanks.

Sounds like he tube may be lose in the slot. It should just be right in back of the amp. How old is it? If its more then a year, you should probably go ahead and change it.

You have to pull the chassis out of the case.
      The tube is replaceable.
Sounds like you have a loose ground wire though, not a bad tube.
