  • Where to get *exact* replacement nuts for Model series

    Hey guys,

Does anyone manufacture nuts that are *exact* replacements (phenolic? graphite?) for those found on Charvel Model series guitars? Graph-tec? Someone else? Or would I need to have a luthier make one for me?

I believe the Graphtec "GIbson" style ones will fit. Any nut you put on there will probably need some work done to get you string height correct. A good luthier won't charge you too much. Say the nut is 7-10 dollars, most places i have seen will just chrge you around 25-35 for the labor and time of filing it to your specs.
