• What pickups came in a 1989 Jackson Strat?

My 1989 Strat has the original pickups - one humbucker and two single coils - that have the Jackson logo on them. Which models are they? I'm probably a little too lazy to remove them and check them out closer.

If the electronics are active, you most likely have a J-50 bridge humbucker and a pair of J-200 single coils. If it's a passive set up, then you most likely have a J-90 and a pair of J-100 single coils.

Thanks for the info. The system is passive, so it must be the J-90C and the 100's.

If the singles have exposed pole pieces they are J100s if not they are J200s
Really? well screw Mark Twain.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, they've got the exposed pole pieces, so the single coils are J100's. Any way to tell what the humbucker is without removing it?

Oops - didn't mean to double-post.
