hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has tried to flatten out their OFR knife edges, I have one right now that is curved upwards and dont want to buy a new baseplate to get the edges

The edges should be hardened so you really can't use a hand file succesfully. You can use an "India" stone or a diamond file or even a dremel tool fitted with a stone if you have a steady hand. I've cleaned mine up that were damaged when I got them and it works great. Just be sure to not get carried away.
