  • Blocking the tremolo

Ever since i bought a hardtail esp i havnt played my jackson (dx10d) for more than 10 minutes! So im thinking about blocking off the tremolo (licensed floyd rose) using one of those 'tremol-no' things.

Anyone had any experience with them, or have any other suggestions?

I know most people here are big on floyd roses, but im just totally over them and want my jackson to function as a hardtail!

    Thanks

+1 I have several and they work great!

Another option is to find something of the appropriate thickness to place between the trem block and the back of the trem cavity. I have had the best results with either a rectangular pencil eraser or a 9-volt battery wrapped in electrical tape. Cheap and easy to remove, but effective.

I used the sliding bracket off a Les Paul scratch plate, works great.
