• Pickupreplacements, suggestions

Hi!

I'm about to change the pickups on my Jackson JS30. Rescently i got 2x CSV Humbuckers, and they are sad ones. I thinkig of:

Option 1:
DiMarzio ToneZone (bridge)
DiMarzio AirNorton (neck)

Option 2:
DiMarzio ToneZone (neck)
DiMarzio PAF Pro (neck)

Option 3:
DiMarzio Blaze (neck)
DiMarzio PAF Pro (neck) (Air Norton)

Option 4:
DiMarzio Blaze (neck)
DiMarzio Blaze (neck)

I no longer got the chance to put them in and try them before bying.

PS. I love Prog, Fusion/Rock, melodic and neoclassic metal/rock etc....

I'd go Tone Zone bridge, PAF Pro neck. The Blaze pickups are for 7-strings, how can you use them in a 6-string guitar?

Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge, whatever you want in the neck.

PAF pro in the neck is nice. i got one there

I'd vote for the Tone Zone/Air Norton combo if you want to go with DiMarzios. The Steve's Special would be a good alternative to the Tone Zone, though it does suck a lot of the mids out of your sound, so you have to consider that. Supposedly the Air Norton matches up very well power-wise with the more powerful DiMarzio bridge pickups.

If it were me, I'd go with a Duncan Distortion/Full Shred-neck version combo, which works very well in my Soloist.

Why there are somewhere two neck pickups under the options?

Does the neck and bridge mark really make a difference in tonality?

I've been trying almost all S. Duncan pickups and i don't like them at all. To much "vintage a like" or something..

I'll go for Tone Zone in bridge & PAF Pro in neck.
or simply ToneZone in borth bridge and the neckversion of ToneZone in the neck.....?
Is there such a thing as an ToneZOne for neckposition?

It might be the ToneZone and the PAF Pro.

Can't find any info about it?
Is it worj to pu in my Jackson?
