A question for the experts...

I have a Jackson soloist from 1985 and I'd like to tweak the truss rod a little...but that nut on the end of the truss rod is small AND there isn't much room around it either...so various wrenches and sockets that I've tried would come close enough to 'round off' parts of that nut but that's not what I wanted to do...so...

...is there a special Jackson tool for this?

If it's the big brass bolt, pretty much any music store can sell you the 7mm truss rod wrench you need.

Allparts also has a 1/4" one and a 5/16" one available for sizes used on other guitars. Nice to have all three in your toolbox.

There is also a tee handle wrench that fits that size nut, but it is more expensive and harder to find. But I prefer it since it fits between the strins easily and I don't have to reposition it ever 1/6 of a turn or so. I just slide it in and go to work.

It's kind of like a string, but cheaper since you don't have to pay for the "G". But they are lower quality. I've heard ESP is very interested in them.
