  • Model 2 Body, charvel neck

    greetings, i recently purshased a charvel 22 fret neck with the toothpaste logo and arrived a few days ago, im planning on buying and installing it on a model 2 body, it should fit correctly without drilling new holes, right? i just dont want to bust another jackass move with the neck and a rhoads body

    Should work. No problem. Do you have the neckplate with the gasket?

      The tooth paste Charvels may have a different screw hole location than a model two.No prob just dowel and redrill.I know the 90s import jacksons have a slightly different pattern than the new imports.

        I thought about that as well. But, it may work without a redrill.

            hmmmm.... im not to fond on attemtping a redrill on the neck, here is the body that im considering purchasing

            the body includes the neck plate with the serial #249783
            btw, what were the bodys that came with those toothpaste necks?

              That body is getting pricey. Like everything other instance, Murphy's Law will come into play. Just accept the fact that a redrill will be necessary because you don't want to do it. It's really not that hard.
