  • intonation lock screw rounded off. need help

Hey guys. I've rounded off the intonation locking screw (allen key screw) on my Ibanez's bridge. How do I get the screw out? I haven't been able to play the guitar for a while because of this. I'm low on cash so taking it to a tech is the last thing I want to do.

Set of pliers and turn it out...and buy a new one and change it...

If you can't get a good grip w/ pliers, you can cut a slot in the top of the screw with a dremel tool (or maybe with a hacksaw blade if you're very careful), then use a screwdriver to remove it.

Or you could carefully cut a notch in the top with a dremel type tool so you can use a screwdriver.
