    I just bought this guitar today...below is an issue it has and was wondering if anyone had this problem and how they fixed it.

    That may work for you... I would go ahead and pug the hole and re-drill if it were me.

        probably will work for a while. you will have to plug and redrill sooner or later though.

          I've found that using toothpicks is rather effective. You insert one all the way into the hole, and break it off so its level with the body. Then you take the other half and repeat. Use as many toothpicks as needed (normally never more than one or two) until the whole is pretty much completely filler. Then rescrew the screw in there. That should work perfectly fine for a very long time (I've used this on similar trem issues, and when installing straplocks. Never had to plug and redrill... even though it's pretty much the same thing).
