  • What's that wire that connects to the OFR's spring claw?

Some guitars have the wire connected, my KE3 has some solder bumps left on the claw, but there's no wire. I was just wondering what this is and what it does.
    Thanks

Is it a problem that my KE3 doesn't have the wire? (It never came with one, but there are solder bumps :S)

        Does it have EMG's?
If it does, you don't need the wire.
If not, you should connect a ground wire to the claw and ground it to the back of the volume pot.

Your KE3 has EMGs, therefore it does not need to be grounded to the guitar/trem claw.
