  • JT-6 Bushings

I ordered some standard floyd posts/bushings to install an OFR on my project - a 89 Charvel 550XL-ish neck-thru. I should have measured first (I blame Rum for this oversight ) - the pre-drilled holes are for a JT-6, and too large for what I bought. I haven't found a place to buy the proper bushings. I was thinking of pulling the bushings from another project body that I have, but they are flush against the bottom of the dowel. I'm not sure but I would think that bushing removal tools need to get underneath it before it can be removed. Anyone know where I can either purchase JT-6 bushings, or will standard removal tools extract the ones I have from the other guitar? Any recommendations for a good removal tool? Or do I need to resort to digging them out? The last option will be a p.i.t.a. for sure. Thanks for any advice -

You could also dowel the holes and re drill for the Floyd posts.
