  • minute neck-thru indentation on finish :/

i just noticed this on my charvel model 6. I've had the guitar for bout 4 months now and never really looked at it that thoroughly, so I don't know if it has been there before or just developed now. Issue is, I can see the neck-thru lines on the finish (black) from a certain angle, but the finish is smooth enough that I can't feel a shift in elevation. it's visible in the front and the back. there are no cracks or anything, just these faint lines seen through the finish.

anyway, should I be concerned about this? I'm guessing it's because the different woods contract/expand differently based on climate, but just to be safe, is this normal? thanks in adv

It's normal. I was able to see the neck through the finish of my old Model 6 and Model 5A (both black cherry).
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
