    When wires are soldered to the back of the pots, does it mean they're grounded?

      As long as the back of the pot is grounded, which it should be. If you can trace a electrical connection from the bridge ground or output jack ground to the back of the pot, then yes. You can double check with a multimeter. Just about any guitar with a factory or professional wiring job will have grounded pots.

        and all those grounds must be traced to the ground lug of the output jack as well.
