  • Question about Dimarzio Diagram...

    Guys... One final wiring question. If you take a look at the following diagram, notice the single coil split switch. The bottom 2 connections are 2 be grounded.

    Do I accomplish this by connecting them to each other?
    or
    By connecting them to each other and then a grounded item like the back of the volume knob?

    Also, on the detailed images at the bottom, what does the N O B stand for?

    Thanks alot,

    Rich

    I believe the "o" is for output. But I'm special....

      Like your second method "By connecting them to each other and then a grounded item like the back of the volume knob?" Make sure like they say at the bottom that all grounds are connected/linked together.

      b = Bridge
      n = Neck
      o = Not quite sure but maybe On?

      You can see by the wire colors of the drawing of the gibson style 3 way toggle that b = bridge and n = neck

        Output...ahh yes...makes perfect sense..especially since I now see the giant OUTPUT word next to the 1/4 jack!

        Thanks!
