  • Tuners

Hi. This one will be short.

I cannont remember how those good tuners are called. Something like sxxxxxxxx tuners. There are chromatic tuners and those, starting with s or something.

    Thanks, guys!

    Re: Tuners

Do you mean the Peterson strobe tuners? Yeah they're pretty useful and about as accurate as you can get. I've never owned one and they're pretty costly. For half or less, you caould get a Korg rackmounted DTR series tuner. They have several modes like, strobe, hertz, and cents.

      Re: Tuners

I picked up the newest Peterson strobe tuner and am extremely pleased with it. Once you get over the initial learning curve, you'll be amazed how well it works. (I upgraded from a POS needle/LED model and now know how far off the tuning/intonation was!)
They're not cheap, but is a wise investment IMO.

IS there a good compromise tuner available that is close to the Peterson accuracy but at slightly less cost?
