  • Broken JT580LP!!!!!

Basically, I was playing my JS30 when I heard a CRACK from the bridge.

After much trying to remove the trem arm I found that the arm holder (the threaded piece attached to the trem) had a few cracks in it.

Now is there a way to get replace this or will I have to replace the whole trem.

I have been told that FMIC have a shite customer service to the UK sooooo what should I do?

The guitar is still under warranty.

    Andy!

This is a fairly common thing on a lot of imported guitars, as most use the same bridge. Not sure if that'll be covered under warranty or not, but I don't think you need to replace the entire bridge.

Get a retro arm kit from allparts part # BP1000 and it's available in black, chrome,or gold.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, you'll have to drill the old collar out on the JT580LP and cut away a little on the spring block for clearance but it works great and is a lot cheaper than replacing the whole trem.
