  • changing the screws in a pickup

I have gold slothead screws that I would like to put in my tone zone pickup.
Can I just unscrew the silver one and scew in the gold ones and that's it, or does something else need to be done to it?
    Will it affect the tone?

Depends on the pickup, but yea, you should be able to swap them out.

Are they the filister head sloted screws made for pickups that you will be using? Also, watch out for mixing metric with standard sizes. Metric are usually 5mm and the Standard are 5/40 thread. If you have the right size and thread you will have no problems.
