  • A good source book for set-ups

Ok, I have heard of a couple of good how to books out there for learning to do a good setup. I am tired of guessing at alot of stuff and want a reference where I can learn to do this the right way. What woul you guys suggest as the best books to get? Also, another good book on electronics would be cool as well. that way I don't have to feel like an idiot with my soldering iron. All opinions are welcome.

The "Guitar Player Repair Guide", by Dan Erlewine. The "Bible" of guitar repair and setup IMHO! He has another book, "How to Make your Guitar Play Great". Not as good, but some valuable information. His video's are excellent as well. If I had a choice of only one book, it would be the first one. It's available at bookstore chains or here:http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Books,_p...air_Guide.html

As above, plus if you want one that deals with Floyds (and has a good DVD to boot!): http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Yourself...835874-6032863

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ook?sku=903356 This book has tones of cool info on amps, maintence, and guitars. The maintence tips are VERY helpful.
