On the small Jackson Dinky black switches(micro) for

choosing which of the 3 or any combination of pickups are 'active',
how do they tighten up, back down to the body? Mine are a bit loose.
Are they pressed in?

They are held on by nuts that screw on the threads that are on the body of the switch (pics found on ebay):
