  • plannig to replace the schaller tremolo on my lefthanded 1990 charvel 475

planning to change the schaller tremolo and the locking nut on my charvel lefthanded 475.as well thinking about changing the jt580lp on my left handed trans red dinky.wondering is the jackson jt580 any good,or better off with an original floyd rose,my planning to stick a original floyd rose with new locking nut on my charvel lefty 475,because of paint chipped, rusted, damaged finetuners, etc. is there any major work need to be done such as shimming/or rerouting.if its because of screws on the original longer than the one on the schaller, couldnt i just use shorter on the floyd. i might have thought about getting a new schaller, but they stopped making thier tremolos left handed.cause you cant get them thru warmoth or any other place.also if i decide to keep the jt580 in whats the easist to temporarily block the tremolo to change strings without messing with the spring screws, etc
