Ribbon around my Humbucker... a bit torn..?

I noticed its down a bit..(roughly 1/4") and i can see the copper winding
posts on each side. Is this a problem? Does the black ribbon nead to
be ALL the way to the top edge? I replaced my "Black PUP looks like ASS" with a chrome Frame which seems to have changed the overall look
much better.
But i must have caught the ribbon with the spring somehow, and pulled it down a bit off the top edge. The opening is just a small triangle about
1/2" wide by 3/16'ths to 1/4" deep. Problems? Or just cosmetic? thanks
She seems to still sound great, so i dont hear anything unusual.

Its just protective fabric tape. You can leave as-is or order some more of the tape from stewmac.

Or, rewrap it with electrical tape, black if you can, or use a black Sharpie on any color.

Well...since ive been an electrician for 31 years... i wonder if i might have
some blk electrical tape around? :-)) Or yellow...or red...or blue..!
