  • My guitar won`t shut up!...

Is it normal that the guitar is still to hear even when the
volume knob is turned to 0?..
Playing only the Bridge PU ...

btw:When I put the volume and the tone knob to 0 then
    the guitar is finally silent...

    Should it be like this?

    It`s a 2006 Randy Rhoads Pro Series RR3

No. Sounds like you need a new pot. Jackson uses cheap pots on imports so they can put more money into the important things like construction quality, wood quality, fretwork, paint quality, and all that stuff that you can't change.

That's entirely beside the point. A cheap pot is a cheap pot. Get a CTS or Switchcraft pot and enjoy it.

Ok but, I think I can`t get those by us...
It`s not kind of a big deal but in some song where there
is a fade in then it kinda bugs me...
          Thank you

Bad volume pot or a bad cap on the tone pot. The only way to repair a bad pot is to replace it. The cap could be grounding.

Could also be a bad solder joint. My LP does the same thing ever since I swapped the bridge pickup. I would fix it but it sounds neat with a Flanger and some decently-high gain

It is not that it`s humming or something...
but, if I strum the strings you can hear it...
So it`s not good for fade-ins or something like that

I have the same sort of problem on the same guitar. It must be the pot.

I had that on an old guitar and replacing the pot with one from Carvin completely fixed the problem.

Currently the pot on my Charvel is acting strangely. If I turn it all the way up or all the way down, I get a sustained beep sound...I guess you could call it electronic noise? Any ideas on that one?

I agree. Break down and spend 5 bucks.

You can get 'em online pretty cheap bro. Shipping adds a bit more, but it's not too bad. That's where I get all my parts
