  • A little problem with my Jackson DK2L.

Hello everyone, I've recently managed to purchase a Jackson DK2L from ebay. I live in Pakistan. The guitar is very good with emg's and floyd rose upgrades.

The floyd rose in my guitar isn't of a jackson it's some other guitars floyd rose. Recently I have been having problems with the tuning. I tune the guitar the next second it's out. Even If I put locking nuts on the strings it still goes out. I showed it to a really good guitarist in my country and he just took a look at a concert to it and said that something might be wrong with the bridge.

Please let me know what could be the possibilities. I will really appreciate it, and in any case could this be fixed and adjusted?

How old are the strings and are they stretched?

kya halel hey- or khem choa(sp)?

First, this Q belongs in the Tech forum- Im sure our estute admins will have it noosed over there shortly

Next, there are many possibilities- Let me toss out a couple.
You may have bad knife edges or just need some new springs.
Are there at least 3 springs back there?
Is the nut lock down pads binding the strings all the way? if not you may be getting some slip.
        Are the neck bolts secure?
